So weird thing…I’ve been having the craziest dreams in the past couple of days. Last night I had a dream and some of my friends were sitting in this giant fireplace. It wasn’t burning or anything they were just sitting on this bench that was above hot coals. Then I walk out and it’s like a mall and this girl walks by and shoots a bullet in the air! Just trying to get settled!
I’ve never liked moving…it’s just bad. You get all your stuff together take it somewhere and unpack it. Once you unpack it you realize how much stuff you need to buy in order to make the new place feel like home. I’m on the tail end of the process and getting normal amenities is racking up big time. So last night apparently there was an earthquake. I woke up and it basically felt like jet lag or that feeling you have when you wake up still a little drunk…yeah. lol. It was kinda cool Im still here though. Ill check out of the hotel and head to campus today so the real adventure will start. Im looking forward to settling in somewhere and starting my routine. Day 1
So yesterday after a good night`s sleep I decided I was going to the local mall. So I went downstairs and as the elevator doors were opening this poor older Japanese lady jumped out of her skin! I`m guessing I was her first black person she has ever seen. LOL. I told her it was ok and walked out of the elevator. So I call myself waiting for the bus only to find out I was totally off about the time...
I am not my hair.
So today I did the Big Chop and cut my hair pretty much off. Oh well. I expect to get mixed reviews cuz some people will just be like that. I figure that’s just an easy way of weeding out the folks that will go to the next stage of my life with me. We will see I guess won’t we.
